About Sarah

Obviously, as the title of this blog suggests, I tend to worry. A lot. About almost everything. My family and friends often describe me as a “worrywart” and “hypochondriac,” and I sometimes (okay, maybe it’s more than that) drive them nuts with all of my worrying.

Unfortunately, worrying causes much stress, which can lead to actual health problems. Of course, as a worrier, this fact scares me, and I want to try to reduce my stress and anxiety levels. Worrying is also very draining, and I want to be able to live a happy and carefree life.

How will I try to accomplish this, you ask? By writing away my worries. As a former award-winning journalist and aspiring novelist, writing always has been therapeutic for me. If I write about my problems and share them with others (especially people like my husband, Todd, who can show me how ridiculous I’m being), I can find the humor or lesson in a situation.

My hope is that this blog will help me to not only reduce the amount of stress in my life due to worrying, but also help others who worry just as much as I do. So please share with me your worries and help me to get over mine!
